the future happened
The Future Happened: Designing the Future of Music, launched on April 9, 2021 at the Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA). An online exhibition examining how design and art deepens our relationship with music, I began working with lead curator Lawrence Azerrad in 2019, when the project was still in its inception. I produced an extensively researched document including 70 different artists, projects, and technologies, that we then used to build the evolving exhibit off of. As the exhibition progressed, we brought in more curators and artists from around the globe. I played an instrumental role in communicating with our global team of curators, artists, museum staff, designers, developers, and editors, scheduling meetings, conducting interviews, and organizing and distilling visual assets.
Visit The Future HappenedWe created exclusive artist interviews focused around each artist’s relationship to how their design and music practices intertwined. I conducted the interviews for Lava La Rue and Advisry, for each creating specific questions related to their practice and interviewed them over Zoom.
